This prayer book was created with the cooperation of Archimandrite Christodoulos - abbot of the monastery Lopushanski "St. John the Baptist" - v. George Damyanovo.

"Lopushanski prayer" is a collection of over 300 prayers and akathisia.

Attention is paid to repentance, and most often violate the First Commandment - "Thou shalt have no other gods."

Included are endearing chants that work offline and create a prayerful mood in humans.

Also IMO number of icons that are thematically related to prayers and akathisia.

The icons are automatically set below the text of the prayer thus stand before the icon.

PRAYER - BREATH OF SOUL

Prayer is intimate communion of man with God ascension of mind and heart and time to him, mainly the work of Christian life and invincible victory fence and protection against all enemy attacks. In it he reveals before God their repentance, heart desires, weaknesses, applications and sighs thank him and praise him. Prayer has commanded us: Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving discover their petition before God (Phil. 4: 6; Col. 2: 6, 7). And again: Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks; because this is to you the will of God in Christ Jesus. (1 Sol. 5: 16-18).

Prayer is the residence and connection of man with God, approval of the world, reconciliation with God, a foretaste of future bliss. "For those who truly prays, prayer is the court's judgment seat and seat of judge before Judgment" - says Reverend John of the Ladder. It attracts God's mercy and izprosva forgiveness for sins renewed in trials and tribulations, pacify the anger leads to spiritual prosperity, enlightening the mind, cleanses the heart, sanctifies every work and life, comfort and cheer the soul, makes it heavenly dwelling and containment of the entire world, all of which she prays with love. In prayer man is likened to angels and saints.

Ask, and it shall be given you; seek and you will find (Matt. 7: 7). To believe in the words of the Lord, because He is faithful.

With prayer to ask for God's help and blessing of God to illuminate - and we, ourselves, and our whole life. And be the words of St. Paul:

Rejoice always. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks; because this is to you the will of God in Christ Jesus. Not quench the Spirit.

What the Saints say about prayer?

- God more willing ourselves to ask Him for our sins than others because of us. (St. John Chrysostom)

- The subject of our prayer should be things spiritual and eternal, not temporary and material. The main and initial prayer should consist of petitions for forgiveness of sins (St. Ignatius Bryanchaninov)
