Alcometer - calculating the time of elimination of alcohol and its concentration

Breathalyzer - calculator of alcohol elimination rate (virtual breathalyzer) is used to calculate the concentration of alcohol in the blood and exhaled air after taking a certain amount of alcoholic beverages, as well as to calculate the time for elimination of alcohol from the body.

The method for determining alcohol concentration is based on a formula developed by the Swedish chemist Erik Widmark. The formula has been refined to increase the accuracy of the result.

The formula determines the maximum theoretically possible concentration of alcohol in the blood

A - the amount of pure alcohol in grams

m - body weight in kilograms

r - reduction factor

The reduction factor is calculated according to weight, height and sex according to the formulas proposed by S. Seidl U. Jensen.

The resorption deficit is calculated depending on the fullness of the stomach and the concentration of alcohol.
