Discover the most important places in the lives of our founders
"Nazareth, pilgrim's heart" is an application developed by the Missionary Daughters of the Holy Family of Nazareth, on the occasion of the celebration of its 150th anniversary, to help you discover the most important places in the life of the founder, Saint Joseph Manyanet and the co-founder, M. Encarnación Colomina. You can discover these places from your home, school, on the road, or even in the place itself.
The Missionary Daughters of the Holy Family of Nazareth are a religious congregation of the Catholic Church, founded by Saint Joseph Manyanet in 1874 who, moved by the Spirit, devoted himself entirely to following and announcing Christ in the Mystery of Nazareth. This charism in which we all participate permeates our consecration to God and our apostolic mission.
The religious of Nazareth want to be contemplatives in action.
Our mission is to form families according to the model of the Holy Family of Nazareth, especially through the comprehensive education of children and youth in any part of the world.
Five global missionary orientations under three axes guide the Missionaries of Nazareth today:
ALL ON MISSION
• Being a synodal community based on discernment and trust.
• To feel that we are a missionary community based on diversity and universality.
EDUCATE, OUR ANSWER
• Build the Kingdom in shared mission
• Allow yourself to be affected by reality in order to give an evangelical response from our educational mission.
NETWORKS THAT EMBRACE
• Build together networks that support, accompany and favor participation and circularity in the congregation.
The application is available in Spanish, Catalan, English, Italian, Portuguese, French and Indonesian
