Weather in various Chinese cities
The huge Chinese territory is subject to different climates, mostly temperate or subtropical. In the Northwest (Mongolia Region and Xinjiang), summer is scorching (47 ° C) with violent thunderstorms and very cold winter (as low as -40 ° C) and very dry. On the Tibetan Plateau and north-east, the sun is omnipresent throughout the year with cold winters and mild summers yet. On the coast is an oceanic climate prevails, while the South China is marked by a subtropical climate, mild and humid in winter, hot and rainy in summer.
Huge differences in latitude, longitude and altitude can lead to sudden changes in temperature and precipitation in the country. Although most temperate countries are located such as China, the climate model of the country is complex.
Northern China is in the temperate zone, while the southern end has a tropical climate. Differences in temperature in winter are great, but these differences are smaller in the summer. For example, northern Heilongjiang province can have an average below 0 ° C in January as low as minus 30 ° C, while the average in July and in the same area, can exceed 20 ° C . In contrast, central and southern Guangdong province may experience an average January temperature above 10 ° C, while the average in July is about 28 ° C.
Precipitation can vary from one region to another, even for temperatures. In southern China, with a subtropical climate, Qin Ling knows abundant precipitation, most of them come with the summer monsoons. Spring is the best time to visit this region.
To the north and west, however, rainfall is uncertain. Northwestern is the low annual rainfall region in the country, sometimes with no precipitation in these desert areas. The clear skies and dry air of autumn make pleasant visits this season.
