The company management also changed the name of the tower to Burj Khalifa as a gesture. Burj Khalifa, whose exterior was completed in September 2009, was officially opened in January 2010.

Burj Khalifa was built in reinforced concrete up to the 150th floor. The next floors were built with steel construction, taking into account the weather events. The building, which looks like a needle, does not have straight walls. The corners are not sharp but oval-shaped. It was built as a complex building, not for single use.
