Ahmad Syech Albar (born in Surabaya, July 16, 1946; age 72 years) is an Indonesian singer and musician. He is also the vocalist of the musical group God Bless. Ahmad was born to Syech Albar and Farida Al-Hasni. His mother divorced and later married an artist and director, Djamaluddin Malik. From their marriage this gave birth to a female artist who became her half sister Camelia Malik. Ahmad Albar is usually called by the nickname Iyek. Ahmad Albar was married to artist Rini S.
