The radio station RAS is a public corporation of the state of South Tyrol. It was founded in 1975 with the task of supplying South Tyrol with radio and television programs from German and Ladin-speaking countries across the country. To distribute the 18 television and 22 radio programs, the RAS currently operates around 1,000 transmitters and directional radios at over 120 broadcast locations.
