Surat Al-Waqi’ah, text and voice by the reciter Sheikh Maher Al-Moaikli

Surat al-Waqi’ah is one of the surahs of the Holy Qur’an, and its arrangement between the suras, the fifty-sixth surah out of a hundred and fourteen surahs, and the number of its verses are ninety-six, the number of its words is three hundred and seventy-nine verses, and the number of its letters is one thousand six hundred and ninety-two letters, and it is one of the Meccan suras, which It was revealed to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, before the emigration, and it falls in the twenty-third part of the Holy Qur’an, and God Almighty initiated it in the manner of the condition: “If the incident occurred,” it was revealed before Surat Al-Shuara 'and after Surat Taha. Surat Al-Waqi’ah is one of the surahs that the Messenger, may blessings and peace be upon him, used to read during the dawn prayer. Mrs. Aisha, the Mother of the Faithful, may God be pleased with her, recommended that women read it, because of her great merit and a great reward.

The benefits of Surat Al-Waqi’a: Continuously reading it thinking and pondering its verses, prevents poverty and poverty, brings livelihood, and prevents misery, and it has been called Surat Al-Ghani. Whoever reads it has not been written by the heedless, because of its intimidation and mention of the horrors of resurrection, reckoning, punishment and dying, so do not leave those who read it the opportunity to be oblivious at all.

Its verses mainly talk about the Day of Resurrection, its conditions, and its peculiarities, as its verses begin with mentioning the event, which is one of the names of the Day of Resurrection, and it speaks about the horrific events that take place in it. It was mentioned in it that people are divided into three types: the people of the north, the right-wing people, and the close ones

In its verses, God Almighty provided many clear evidences for the reality of the Day of Resurrection, which is the Day of Resurrection.
