About Segment Ripper

A simple tool for getting Strava segments as .gpx files

If you're a Strava user, you must be quite familiar with a problem of searching someone's segments in the field. GPS navigators could help, but Strava doesn't allow downloading the individual segments coordinates. Here's the tool that should help you.

Run Strava app, open the segment you're looking for and tap the "share" button. Now select Segment Ripper. Once Segment Ripper app opened, tap "Load Segment" button and wait for the segment to load. Then tap "Export GPX" button, enter the segment file name and tell the app where to send the newly generated file.

That's it!

Now you can load this file to your navigator and find the elusive segment.

The file will also be stored on your device in SmartRipper folder.

Note that alternatively (instead working via Strava app) you can run Segment Ripper yourself and tell it the segment id.

P.S. Initially I've made this tool for myself, but it looks like the problem is quite common. Hope someone else would find this ripper app useful.
