The science of inheritance is one of the important chapters that we study in fiqh. Most of us, if we study fiqh, it turns out that it is not complete until we are finished. Because we only dwell on the early chapters such as the chapters of thaharah, prayer, fasting, zakat and others.

While this inheritance chapter is sometimes overlooked for study. This is because this inheritance chapter is located at the very end or at the very end in the fiqh books.

Inheritance law regulations are regulations stipulated by the Koran, Hadith and ijma' of the Muslims. The position of the science of inheritance is the same as the problem of prayer, zakat, muamalah and hudūd, all of which must be applied. And it is also mandatory to practice. It is not permissible to replace it or get out of Islamic inheritance law. (al-Fiqhu al-Manhaji 'Alaa Madzhabil Imam asy-Syafi'iy)

Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wasallam himself has ordered us all to study this very rare inheritance science.

From Abdullah bin Mas'ud radhiyallahu anhu said: Rasulullah shallallahu alaihi wasallam has said: "Learn the Koran and teach it to people. And learn the knowledge of Faraidh (the science of inheritance) and teach it to people. Because I am only human who will dies. And inheritance will be revoked and slander spreads, to the extent that there are two people who are fighting over inheritance but can't find anyone who can answer it." (Narrated by al-Hakim)
