An interactive multimedia dictionary in the field of international security-defense cooperation to consult and enrich in a fun way.

Lexicopaix is ​​a free and entirely offline application developed jointly by the Organization Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF), the Directorate of Security and Defense Cooperation (DCSD) of the French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, and the CAVILAM-Alliance française.

The multimedia dictionary consists of more than 600 essential vocabulary words in French for international security-defense cooperation in a French-speaking environment.

It constitutes an interactive and fun tool to support the learning of the French language of uniformed personnel engaged in peace and stability actions carried out in the French-speaking area.

Discover these words divided into 9 main areas to make navigation easier for beginner users:

In order to promote the memorization process, Lexicopaix automatically generates three types of exercise from word categories: identify an image, identify a sound, write a word.

Then create your personal dictionary in images and further enrich your professional vocabulary:

- choose an object from your immediate environment;

- photograph it with the application (or import an image of your choice);

- name the object by recording yourself and writing the associated word.

Lexicopaix is ​​an application intended for learners but also for teachers wishing to diversify their teaching materials and approaches. The application is fully usable offline. All data you generate is stored on your device.
