In this Code, unless the context otherwise requires,agricultural year " means the year commencing on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint alienated means transferred in so far as the rights of the State Government to payment of rent or land revenue are concerned, wholly or partially, to the ownership of any person.
