Baccalaureate Ready

For High School students who are about to take the National Baccalaureate Exam.

This app offers 13 interactive tests with about 260 items taken from about 12 English National Baccalaureate Exams offered between 2010 and 2018.

The tests are : Vocabulary, Derivation (1-2), phrasal verbs(1-2), tenses(1-2), mixed grammatical structures(1-2-3-4), functions(1-2).

While some exercises have received little format change, exercises that require long written answers have been changed into blank-filling exercises to make them handheld-device friendly.

Multiple choice questions have been implemented using drag-and-drop. Tests with this type of question run in portrait mode on devices with screen width lower than 480 Dp and in landscape mode on devices with screen width higher than that.

Tense and derivation questions have been implemented using EditText views. Tests with this type of question ran in portrait mode only on all devices. This done to allow users to enter their answers using their devices' keyboard while having the question in view.

Most tests consist of 15 or 20 items. Users are given immediate feedback for their answers and a final score is displayed at the end of the test.
