Adani Safety

Safety App is designed to meet the mission statement of Zero Incidents at APSEZ.

Safety application:

Safety of Life is of Prime importance and the main goal for Adani Group.

APSEZ Mundra is spread over 16000 Acres. In addition to their various offices, APSEZ also houses stakeholders and Port Users such as Customs House, Port Users offices, CFSs, Empty Yards, Manufacturing units, Multi purpose Warehouses. There are huge number of Trucks, Trailers Heavy Machinery Equipments that need to be operated for handling cargo and movement of them into the port. All these units and equipment houses innumerable work force who plan their daily work in order to make the port operations successful. Life of all these work force is invaluable.

The primary aim of the safety App is to ensure that it captures any unsafe condition, unsafe act so that it is addressed at its nascent stage and does lead to an incident. The unsafe observation could be as small as a loose wire hanging from a pole or within an office premise. An unsafe act could be an over-speeding of a vehicle or a wrong turn that could lead to an incident.

The safety app also features a safe act or observation that can be set as an example for others to follow.

The application has been designed for multiple level of employees at Adani.

Hence, as the level goes up, so does the responsibility of the individuals. Hence, additional feature to capture and report observations and acts of ' Near Miss' has been added.

Further up, Incidents can be captured and reported to take corrective measures. The observations and acts are reported to the concerned department so that the same can be addressed and rectified.

The Safety App features a camera and a voice command tab to capture photographs and record description through the user's own voice in addition to typing down the description. The voice note also has a TRANSCRIPT feature so that when observation is reported, it translated the audio file to a document file for action to be taken by the respective department.

The location at which the users captures the observations or incidents is automatically mapped to the exact Geo-location through Google Earth.

A feature of Geofence has also been added where all major locations within APSEZ area have been earmarked and any observation or incident recorded from that location automatically maps on to the defined Geofenced area.
