disturbing. A book compiled by Imam Ibn al-Jawzi, in which he collected fearful hadiths, warnings of bad deeds, descriptions of punishments, and disturbing tales that disturb the reassured, disturb the inhabitant, soften the hardened heart, run the rigid tears and rise up the lazy and retired.

He said in the introduction to the book: I saw that the narrators left what is suitable to be mentioned in the gatherings of intimidation and intimidation, and they took false embellishments. If they mention a hadith, then most likely it is a lie. For sin, and they have no heart of humility, so if the narrator succeeds, he tells them: God's mercy is vast, and he does not mention that he is severe in punishment. It is known that the preacher is a doctor for the diseases of sins, and a reformer of the moods of hearts, so if he sees despair from him, or he is safe from his fear, then he resists diseases with their opposites, and I have seen security, lack of fear, and cohabitation with greed are diseases that have taken possession of souls, so I knew that what he installed from the medicines is intimidation, because if the inhabitant occurs What necessitates stillness was like a coolness that gave coldness, so I collected in this book from the fearful hadiths, warnings of bad deeds, describing punishments, and disturbing stories that disturb the calm, unsettle the calm, soften the hardened heart, run the rigid tears and rise up the lazy and retired .. And God is the conciliator.

The reality check is so big, I think it's necessary to remind ourselves of death and its punishment to maintain some kind of balance in our lives.

- "Every breath we take brings us closer to death. Our time in this world is short, our time in the graves is long, and the penalty for following our whims is heavy... Whenever you feel your faith diminishing, just read this. The book couldn't be more true than its title." .

- A lot of motivational talks, lectures, and hadiths lead us to believe that we Muslims will be forgiven somehow in the end, and thus we will be allowed to enter heaven. But we tend to forget the terrible trials, and severe punishments that God Almighty warned us about through the Holy Quran. As a result, many of us become complacent with our deeds oblivious to the fact that we must remain vigil for our sins. We sinners are often deceived by the misconceptions of those motivational verses. From the Qur’an and hadiths, and we rely on the forgiveness of God Almighty on the Day of Resurrection. And so, undeterred by the imminent punishments, we continue to commit sins, hoping that God, the Most Merciful, will forgive us.

So, it is not the hope of heaven that prevents us from disobeying our Lord. Rather, it is the fear of fire that deters us from sins when we sincerely fear it.. Ibn Al-Jawzi, may God have mercy on him, tried to depict the entire scenario in this book. He also explained why we should carry the mixture of hope and fear in our hearts to the exact degree, in order to obtain the pleasure and mercy of God Almighty in this world and the hereafter.

Nafees Omar

- Whoever is truly ashamed of God, let him guard his head and what catches him, let him guard his stomach and what is his desire, let him remember death and calamities, and whoever desires the afterlife should leave the adornments of this world. Whoever does all of this is the one who is truly ashamed of God.

- As God told us, death is actually the destroyer of all pleasures. I'm grateful that you guided me to pick this up at the bookstore. It sets the record straight. Time and time again we forget the afterlife, on a daily basis. This is a book that I want to remember until my last breath.
