Hummusim is the first hummus and kashshara opened in Modiin, the restaurant was established by Padlon Yigal in 2005, since then it has become an institution in the city, with hundreds of residents of Modiin and the region dining there every day. Over the years 'hummus' has become a household name, and hummus lovers come from all over the country following word of mouth recommendations. When recently hummus was chosen as one of the hundred best hummus in Israel.

In 'Humousim' you can find hummus prepared on the spot from fine raw materials. The process of preparing the hummus gives the restaurant's dishes a velvety texture, its delicate and unique taste does not cause a feeling of heaviness after eating it. With the exception of Egyptian beans, hot chickpeas, masbah, roasted pine nuts, hot mushroom stew and a unique tahini, the restaurant serves homemade shakshuka, excellent falafel, crispy fries and finely chopped vegetable salad.

The flagship dish of hummus is definitely 'Shakshuka hummus' - a unique, incredibly delicious dish that combines the two flagship dishes of Israeli cuisine together. And of course the house drink Raimonda that is squeezed on the spot. And then you can munch on Bavarian or homemade Melbi.

The design of the place gives a homely feeling, the kitchen is open to the eyes of the diners and the whole process of making the hummus and the dishes is exposed to everyone.
